     About a week ago, I did a presentation on Guillain-Barre syndrome.  In case you didn't know and are interested about the disease and its relation to PoT, you can find the entry here.

    Which Team Would You Choose?
     There was a recent post here in the Tenipuri community that got me thinking. Either in the post itself or in the comments, someone alluded to the fact? rumor? that Konomi had originally envisioned Kintarou as the star of PoT and Shitenhouji as the main featured team. (I went back like 160 entries to try to find this post and couldn't...)

    This really got me thinking. What would PoT have been like if someone other than Ryoma had been the star - and another team, not Seigaku, had been the featured "home" team for the fans?

    Chapter Summary: As Atobe gets out of hospital, Sanada doesn't decide to visit. Even then, he somehow ends up in Tokyo in the garden of what's more of a mansion than a house.
    A/N: The "old man" is (as some of you might guess) Michael, Atobe's butler.

    It was about the only hope he had of ever forgiving himself.

    Chapter Summary: Atobe celebrates his birthday. He is surprised not to hate his father's gift; however, even more surprised he is to receive something from his mother, too.
    A/N: No ghosts involved, worry not. Also probably obvious, but the letter is in English. (As is most of what Keigo and sometimes Akihito speak with Michael in private, though I usually don't make a mention of it.)

    Slowly walking up to the instrument, Atobe lifted the fall, revealing the familiar row of keys.

    Summary: Akutsu sometimes seems like a winter morning, cold and harsh, yet oddly gentle. Fortunately, Dan isn't afraid of cold.
    A/N: Just a little something that has been in my mind for a long while now, ever since I walked to the uni on a very beautiful morning. (Yes, I am actually sometimes up and about before 9 AM.)

    The air was crisp, cold and clean, every breath he drew reminding him of the sharp reality, the cold burning if he drew too deep a breath, pinching at his cheeks and making his back ache as he found himself tensing against the cold.

     Hey~

    I know this is pretty late to be asking this, but does anyone remember which of Atobe's singles or albums hit the oricon charts? I know one of them did (maybe more...? *is lost*) ...but I can't figure out what rankings they got at their height....sooo...

    Can anyone tell me? Which album/single and rank? =)

    On another note, did any of the other albums or singles for any of the other characters hit a relatively high ranking on oricon? Top 25's pretty good, I'd think...but maybe I'm wrong...)

     You know what I love about RPGs? When they have life bars for all the enemies. Including the bosses. ESPECIALLY for the bosses. I suppose some people would complain that it takes away from the apprehension of the fights, but personally I'd prefer to know exactly where I'm at. Too often, I end up using up items/spells I probably could've used later on in the fight had I known it would take so freaking long, or other times I DON'T use items I probably could've because I don't want to "waste" them, since I have no idea how long the fight will last.

    Something I hate about RPGs? When the story forces STUPID DECISIONS upon the player that they wouldn't otherwise choose because, well, it's STUPID. But you can't progress in the story until you do so.


    And on that note, gameblog 2, probably shorter than the previous log.

    Pretty Cure!
     I've been listening to alot of the Pretty Cure music lately and I just found out that the OP/ED single for the new HeartCatch Pretty Cure anime was released in Japan recently. Would anyone be willing to share it? I would like to add it to my iPod playlist. I love the ED theme "HeartCatch Paradise" it's so catchy! I also love the karaoke versions of the songs too. Just awesome. Also, I've been looking for the Yes! Pretty Cure 5 ED "Kirakira Shichatte My True Love!"   single? Does anyone have that as well please?

    Delurking for a discussion post.
     Hello Prince of Tennis fans! I'm here to start up a discussion on something I've been thinking about for a while. And just what might that be? Continue reading to find out.

    I'm in the middle of watching the Prince of Tennis movie Futari no Samurai again. I tend to watch this movie a lot. The thing I like so much about it? Well that'd be Ryoga. Yep, that's right. I wanna discuss Ryoga. Anything and everything Ryoga. For example: What did you think about him in the movie? Do you have any personal theories about him? What do you think about his being adopted? Or his orange-peel-eating habit? How old do you think he is? Why do you think he had a brief appearance in the OVA Another Story? Do you think he'll appear again somewhere or no?

    I might've just covered all the topics right there but hey. Discuss away!

    Chapter Summary: Dan is not always cheerful, though only very few people get to hear just what is weighing his mind. However, as Echizen-kun and his brother show up in Japan, he is instantly cheered up.

    Akutsu tilted his head back to get the last drops of his coffee, tongue reaching out to lick the last drops from the cold metal rim. Dan swallowed.

    Chapter Summary: Ryoga watches Dan and Ryoma play. However, their peace is broken as Akutsu appears. As Ryoma resolves the situation in the only way he knows, Ryoga's conversation with Dan reveals something startling.

    TVアニメ版ペアプリDVD発売決定!
     Anime version of PairPuri announced!

    DVDs will include things like a match digest for each character [focusing on one major match], a picture drama (o_O so...an "anime" episode of still images? I guess?), mini-episode of chibis, etc.

    First set to come out is the Tezuka x Atobe and Fuji x Yuuta DVDs (both on June 25), priced at 3990yen.

    The DVDs are already available for pre-order on Amazon Japan (Tezuka/Atobe version is here), and at a cheaper price, too!
